Tom is of counsel at the firm.  Tom graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Accounting and Finance. He also received a joint MBA and Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky in 1992.

Tom joined Ernst & Young, LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1992. There he provided tax planning and tax return preparation services to a diverse client base ranging from high net worth individuals to Fortune 500 companies. He earned his Kentucky Certified Public Accountant’s license and rose to the rank of Senior Tax Analyst in Ernst & Young’s Personal Financial Group before joining the firm in 1996. Tom has taught courses at the University of Kentucky in several areas of business, including accounting and business law.

Tom’s principal areas of practice are tax law, estate planning and probate, and corporate creation and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Tom is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
